PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY, AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS, RESOURCES AND LEGAL OBLIGATIONS. THEY INCLUDE SEVERAL LIMITATIONS, AN ARTICLE FOR THE JURISDICTION RULES ABOUT DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND OBLIGATIONS OF APPLICABLE ENFORCEMENT.
IN PARTICULAR, THE HOSTS MUST KNOW HOW TO APPLY REGULATIONS AT THEIR CITIES. AT SOME OF THE CITIES, THESE RULES ARE OFTEN PART OF THE URBAN OR ADMINISTRATIVE RULES OF A CITY IN CONCRETE. IN MANY CITIES HOSTS MUST GET REGISTERED IN AND GET A LICENSE IN ORDER TO PUBLISH ANY HOME ANNOUNCEMENTS OR ACCEPT GUESTS. LOCAL GOVERNMENTS APPLY THOSE RULES IN A VERY DIFFERENT WAYS. THE PENALTIES CAN GO FROM FINES TO OTHER TYPES OF SANCTIONS. HOSTS SHOULD CHECK LOCAL REGULATIONS ALWAYS.
Rent4days offers an Internet platform that connects hosts who have rent accommodations with customers looking for these services which are availables at www.rent4days.com and other websites on which Rent4days provides the services and through the application for mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices and interfaces.
Rent4DaysWorld S.L. (the company behind Rent4Days.com) is registered and has its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, from where it offers an online reservation service accommodation through its website and has an associated group of support local businesses, who only provides internal support to Rent4DaysWorld S.L.

You should notice that when renting a property through Rent4Days you accept the terms and conditions set here explained and is expected it to be fulfilled at all times. The person signing the contract is responsible for the correct and decent behavior of all persons associated therewith, as well as for the compliance with all points.
USER: The person making the reservation must be of age and is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered.
DATE: All data entered by the user are stored on a secure server and we guarantee that the access to this information is exclusive by the booking staff and will only purpose of the reserve itself and to communicate future promotions and customer offers.
RESERVES. An apartment directly through our website.
Through our website you can choose the apartment that you prefer and make your own reservation. When booking depending on the apartment, you will be charged between 20% -35% of the accommodation price on your credit card, once the payment of this charge has been confirmed, we will generate your reservation and receive a confirmation with your reservation number, which will be required for any communication with Rent4Days.
Occasionally, depending on the season, the customer may have to pay between 50% and total cost of housing before the start of your stay.
After verifying that we have received confirmation of payment and generate the reservation you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your reservation, balance due and all other data such as arrival and departure instructions, including the name and number contact from person who will receive you at the apartment.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that the initial booking fee to all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable without exception and in any case.
In case of any cancellation, even when produced by any serious major incident, the cancellation process shall be applied as set above.
For all cancellations with an initial pre-paid booking, this amount will be given to Rent4Days and therefore also the loss at the time of any cancellation of the booking. For cancellations full payments, when the cancellation of the booking is made more than 30 days before the arrival time, 80% of the total reservation will be refunded. When cancellation is for full payments and less than or equal to 30 days before 50% of the total reservation will be refunded, also for cancellations of full payments with 5 or less days before the arrival no refund of the total amount of the reservation will be given.
CHANGES IN RESERVES (dates, amount of people or apartment). If the guest requires a modification of the booking, as long as possible, they are subject to the acceptance or rejection of Rent4Days, and involve 20 € in managements costs.
In case of changes in the number of days: in case of declining days, the remaining balance will stay the same as a compensation to the owner for breach of contract. If it is increased days, the tenant must pay the additional amount on the day of arrival, with the exact amount.
If Rent4Days cannot, for various reasons, have the apartment that has been booked by the customer, Rent4Days has the right to assign an alternative apartment with similar characteristics so you will have other alternatives availables depending on the season.
If an agreement is not reached, both contractual parts have the right to cancel the contract. In this case Rent4Days will reimburse the customer the money paid in advance, except the part corresponding to the days of stay already made, if this is the case.
WARRANTY. Depending on the apartment and the duration of your stay, the security deposit can vary between 150-800 euros. This deposit must be delivered by withholding credit card or cash at the time of arrival.
The client will pay at the entrance a security deposit in cash for the specified sum stated in the reserve. This deposit is fully refunded upon departure except in the case of damage to the apartment, furniture or equipment or situations of extreme dirt. The cost that entails the restoration of the conditions that the apartment had at the entrance will be deducted from the deposit amount. At the end of your stay if everything is correct, you will be refunded with the amount paid as deposit.
MANDATORY CLEANING SERVICE. It refers to the cost of cleaning the apartment after your stay and is linked to each one of the reserves.
The apartment will be available for the customer under proper conditions of cleanliness. The customer agrees to leave the apartment in reasonable conditions of cleaning, litter or food debris.
Additional cleaning services are available upon request and with an additional cost subject to the type of service required.
DAMAGE: The customer agrees to leave the apartment with the same conditions of furniture and equipment that was found at the entrance. Neither Rent4Days or the homeowner will be responsible for damages caused during your stay.
Such damages, including (without limitation): injury to person or property, loss by fire, theft, burglary or criminal behavior. And immediately losing part of the bail retained in the card or delivered at the entrance of the property.
TOURIST TAX. Barcelona City Council imposes an attached tax in the city.
The amount of the reserve will be increased by a tourist tax for bookings of a duration under 7 nights and for an amount of € 0.72 per night and person over 16 years. This fee must be paid in cash to the stuff in charge of the check in at the time of the arrival to the apartment.
OCCUPANTS. Reservations strictly only for the number of occupants indicated in Rent4Days.
The customer can only accommodate the maximum number of people defined in the apartment properties, the confirmed reservation and the contracted rate. In case you want to add occupants to the booking as long as the stated capacity of the apartment allows it, a Modification Booking will take place adding an extra cost per night and person.
You can`t accommodate a larger number of persons than the indicated in the confirmed booking with Rent4Days. Otherwise, Rent4Days will have to ask you to leave the property, losing the sureties or the withholding made on the card.
Parties and extra guests to sleep, even for a single night, is absolutely prohibited.
CHECK IN. It is extremely important to have your arrival date. The time of entry to the apartments is from 15:00 until 21:00. Rent4days will charge 30 euros extra for those check-ins made after 21:00 until 9:00 and on Sundays or holidays will be 50 euros extra.
The customer agrees to keep informed Rent4Days about the estimated arrival time to the apartment because not having this information can make your contact person assigned by Rent4Days to have a delay in the arrival time to the apartment for the check in.
Our staff will meet you at the apartment at the agreed time. The apartment will be ready before arrival. The cleaning staff will prepare the floor and leave one set of towels per person (one small and one large) and one set of sheets for each bed. During the stay in the apartment will be no spare towels or bedding.
The check in staff will arrange with the customer to show the floor and together with you will check its condition and if it is completely satisfactory; after that you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire.
In the questionnaire you will be asked about the value of the tourist tax, hired extras and the bail in case it won’t be subject to a withholding card. You will be asked to pay the remaining amount of the cash reserve, if you were not able to pay 100% of the booking at the website.
In case you are not agreed with the apartment or find any deficiency, you must report it within 24 hours after the arrival to the apartment. After this period we will not accept any complaints about the floor.
After the explanations about the functioning of the equipment in the apartment you will be asked to sign a lease for a short term.
STAY AND CHECK-OUT. On the day of departure in order to return the deposit, our staff will check the state of the apartment to confirm that everything is in order and in the same state the apartment was delivered also the same number of keys that were delivered at the arrival must remain the same.
House cleaning is carried out before the arrival of each client. On departure day, the customer is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable state. Take out the trash before leaving and clean the dishes.
Be sure to leave the heating, air conditioning and general supplies properly closed. Since misuse of these supplies can lead to partial or total loss of the deposit.
The maximum departure time the day of check out is at 12:00. They can apply upon request a late check out, provided such request, Rent4Days will confirm with the client if the apartment is available.
The loss of a set of keys has an additional charge of 25 euros.
In case of doubt or any questions during your stay, our customer service department will be happy to help. We have an emergency number where you can contact us anytime. This number is specified in the contact.
ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED: This advertency can be canceled with a previous announcement by the client to Rent4Days, also it depends on the requirements set by the owner.
INTERNET: Only in exceptional cases the apartments routers may not be compatible with your equipment, Rent4Days is not responsible.
UNAUTHORIZED PARTIES. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited also disturbing the neighbors by loud music or noise. If any of the clients in the apartment is behaving inappropriately or irresponsibly, Rent4Days is authorized to request the client and his companions the immediate departure of the apartment. If this occurs, the customer is not entitled to claim a refund of the security deposit or prepaid rent.
NO SMOKING WITHIN THE APARTMENTS. Smoking inside the apartment means a loss of deposit for special cleaning.
LUGGAGE. Luggage storage: If you want to leave your bags in a locker, you can go to:

- Barcelona Terminal 1: is in the intermodal lobby floor P0, this area is known as 'La Plaza'. Just follow the directions for luggage and luggage storage or "boxes" as it is called in Catalan. In Terminal 2 when you entered follow the signs in the lobby.
- Madrid Atocha Renfe: in central train station, located behind Aviary. No need to go to travel by train, you can leave your luggage alike.
- Madrid Barajas: lockers located in front of Terminal 1 and waiting room no.2.
PRICES. Each floor has a different price depending on their size, location and facilities.
Rates are established in days, weeks or months, depending on the length of stay and number of occupants, and are always made in the best interest of the client. These prices includes accommodation and expenses including water, gas, electricity, clean sheets and towels used during the stay.
For medium term rentals (32 nights or more) the maximum cost of the utilities included in the reserve is € 150.00. Bills or expenses in excess of this amount will be paid by the customer, only by prior presentation of receipts.
Like us, Rent4DaysWorld S.L., we manage the apartments applying to the first deposit (prepaid amount) the service tax of 21% as stipulated by Spanish law. So, for a deposit of 100 euros we will charge an extra of 21 euros of taxes, which makes a total of 121 euros.
If you want an invoice of the reservation, the balance for achieving it must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
Travelers checks are not accepted.
Payment can be made through a bank transfer always when the corresponding net amount is received in our bank account before the day of arrival.
In the case of bank transfers, the customers shall bear the costs of it on their own.
All information and resources regarding accommodation are provided by the accommodation owner. Rent4Days makes the best effort to verify and update the information displayed on the web page www.rent4days.com but Rent4Days is not responsible for its content. Rent4Days reserves the right to update information published on the website at any time, including without limitation: prices, descriptions, photographs and related information.
